It may be getting close to the end of the year, but the learning is still going strong! 🖤✍️

Spanish 2 students wrapped up their Q4 learning on mental, nutritional, and physical health with a creative blackout poetry writing assessment. Students analyzed different readings, identified the main idea, and then circled key words to transform the original text into something completely new.

The final result? A fresh paragraph, meaningful art, and a creative way to show reading comprehension and writing skills in Spanish. ¡Excelente trabajo! 🎨📚✨@kleinhigh @kleinisd

Through the $15,500 Lead the Spark grant provided by The Klein Education Foundation, a team of students called 'Bricks for All' will introduce LEGO Robotics to elementary kids from various Klein ISD schools. This program will teach kids hands-on engineering and computer science to build confidence and interest in STEM at an early age. Mentored by student leaders from both Klein High School and Klein Cain High School, this program plans on giving elementary students role models while creating leadership opportunities for selected high school mentors. Through this grant, Bricks For All is not only expanding access to robotics education but also building a stronger, more connected future for students across Klein. Congratulations to Sophia Kim, Dhruv Nair, Natasha Mbajonas, and Nicolas Castro! @KleinHigh @KleinISD #TheMothersh1p

They did it! 🎉 This weekend the EMT‑B class completed their National Registry skills exam with Harris County Emergency Service District 8 — and every single student passed. The exam covered Medical, Trauma, and CPR emergencies and featured live, in‑person scenarios with real people that lasted several hours.

Please join us in congratulating these dedicated individuals who are now part of the future of Emergency Medicine. If you see any of them, tell them how proud you are of their hard work and long hours! ❤️🚑
